  Hi Mark,

  Thanks for your concern. Yes, another typhoon! We're feeling the outer bands now as I'm writing this. Expected to pass close here tomorrow evening or early morning Monday. Good that it's already diluted from it's super typhoon status. Still, power outages aren't out of the table. 😦

  Have you checked out Cyclone Center, incidentally? I know that a lot of the storms that we classify there are from the South Pacific.

  Yes, I have. But, it was ages ago. Haven't visited ever since PH got me preoccupied. 😃

  The dynamics of storms interest me though. I'm thinking if ever I get a degree in Planetary Science, it would be on storms and weather.
