New Planet Hunters 2.0 K1 Planet Candidates
-
Hello fellow Planet Hunters.
I would like to welcome everyone to post their findings in this discussion, but before doing that please make sure the following requirements are met:
-GLITCHES: Consult this post: http://talk.planethunters.org/#/boards/BPH0000005/discussions/DPH00000zy
-SAP_FLUX: The possible transit(s) should be visible in both PDCSAP_FLUX & SAP_FLUX.
-SAP_QUALITY: Numerous features are impacts caused by hits of cosmic rays, so please make sure this is not the case.
-APO: Some features are caused by contamination from nearby stars.
If the four conditions mentioned above does not make any sense or you do not know how to perform these requirements, just send me a message and I will try to help.

Per your request: in my software I get these possible transits for KIC 12024065 in BJD: 138.25, 471.7, 805.15 (gap), 1138.6, 1472.05 (gap). And again this one is speculative, but "never up, never in" as they say in the game of golf. 😃
Edit: note the gap before the last observed transit should increase the chance this period works because the interval is maintained through it.

I think KID 4174717 looks interesting in Q11-3 at day 29, BKJD 1094.83-1095.20. See http://talk.planethunters.org/#/subjects/APH00003b1?quarter=11-3 .We have reaction wheel zreo crossing during this time, but also before and after the event. There is also a "Cosmic Ray detected on collateral pixel row or column in optimal aperture" (SAP_QUALITY code 8192), but a similar pixel event at BKJD 1095.45 has no effect. UKIRT looks also not clean, but so do many KOIs. What do you think?
Also visible in SAP_FLUX:
Maybe very small mom_centr1:
Nothing to be seen within mom_centr2:
SAP_QUALITY:

Hi zoo3hans, I find it difficult to state an opinion in this situation. Regarding SAP_QUALITY I can see it is not 8192 but actually 8208, do you know what this code holds?

Hi Martti
Yes, it's 8192+16, i.e. both flags apply for this date (cosmic ray on collateral pixel row, zero crossing).
Cheers, Hans Martin

Ahh of course! Normally I have dismissed signals during reaction wheel zero crossing but I actually think this signal looks good. I took a closer look at MOM_CENTR1 and the APO is not significant although it can be seen in especially the last part of the signal.

I think KID 3101007 http://talk.planethunters.org/#/subjects/APH000032k?quarter=15-1 looks like a possible candidate as marcfam pointed out in the discussion about the star (Q15-1, day 2.7). SAP_FLUX does not look as good as PDSAP_FLUX but the feature is still visible. Maybe we have a repeat at day 21.3 in Q6.3.
