Asteroid Flyby Kepler K2 Campaing 5 Epic212088849

  • Tom128 by Tom128

    Hello everyone,

Epic 212088849 in the most recent C5 release shows an asteroid flyby. Daryll put together some animation from a program that Kian Jek created and I think you will find it interesting.

Re 212088849 from Tom's asteroid mention (with credit to Daryll and Kian Jek) and from Hans Martin's list: well from my SkyBoT and K2ephem program checks, this object appears to be named 'Manto' and will reappear in C11. Below is my frame-based animation and new program of this object as well. Update: I will flip my future images to match the above example's orientation and Aladin Lite.
