Foundation of the next PH Long-Period Exoplanet publication
-
While we await the upcoming paper (PH-VIII: Characterization of 42 Long-Period Exoplanet Candidates from the Kepler Archival Data), I thought that we might as well start building the foundation of the next one.
It is my experience that there are still plenty unpublished single transits (K1/K2), and I hope that the community (especially the "old" superusers) will contribute to the establishment of a reasonable list.
ATTENTION:
These debates often tend to drown in posts, therefore I HIGHLY suggest that a few rules will be met in order to maintain an overview:
-Each contributing user will only create ONE stationary (though editable) post.
-Comments/corrections should be made at the discussion pages of individual targets and NOT in this post.
-IF a secondary post is created in this debate it should ONLY contain comments/corrections directed at primary posts by other users.
-Thus, when corrections have been made, the corresponding user notes the date of correction in the primarily post and creates a secondary post stating the approval. When seen (correction completed), the secondary posts by both users should be deleted in this debate.
Additionally, I suggest that we are consistent and unified when displaying our lists, once again in order to enhance the overview. I will start the list, please follow the display below (other ideas are welcome, just send a PM).
Possible usable posts when locating unpublished single transits:
16 New Transiting Planet Candidates from Kepler Q1-Q6 Data
NEW Q2 PLANET CANDIDATES (non-kepler favourite)
NEW Q3 PLANET CANDIDATES (non-kepler favourite)
NEW Q4 PLANET CANDIDATES (non-kepler favourite)
NEW Q5 PLANET CANDIDATES (non-kepler favourite)
Many new long period planet candidates and single transit planet candidates
New Q7 Planet Candidates (non-Kepler favourite)
Latest Kepler Single Planet Candidates List
Q10 - Q14 additions to existing candidates
Unlisted Planetary Confirmations from Q10 - Q13
New Q15 Planet Candidates (non-Kepler favorite)
New Q16 planet candidates (non-Kepler favourite)
Also, please cross-check the following papers before adding new candidates:
Planet Hunters: New Kepler planet candidates from analysis of quarter 2

Yes, 7906827 still looks good. I added a chart for moral support over on old talk.
