How can I download all the light curves (of all the objects)?

  • RussellLeidich by RussellLeidich

All I need is just the X and Y coordinates of every point displayed in a Planet Hunter graph. I realize that I can probably download much more than that from the Kepeler database, but I haven't been able to download much at all due to their web latency, and even if I could, it would take a long time to figure out how to extract just that data into a binary file. (Supposedly every pixel has like 80+ pieces of information attached to it.)

This is for the purpose of testing a classification method based on entropy transforms.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Maybe the easiest way right now is courtesy of Al Schmitt from his LcTools software website. And good luck with your research!

Very cool, thank you! I'm going to see what I can do with his software, and I'll leave this thread open in case anyone else has a suggestion.
