Sudden disappearance of short-period transits - what's up with APH00015wd ?

  • Qwert225 by Qwert225

APH00015wd seems to have small planet with 1.6-1.8 day period, visible as regular transits on Q1-1, Q1-2, Q1-3, Q2-1, Q2-2, and Q2-3, but on further light curves transits caused by this planet are no longer present. What's up? Why the transits suddenly disappeared? Is it still the same star?

Well, just checked and it doesn't seem to be listed as a KOI or a false positive meaning a scientist thought this LC has or had good transits.. So the next best guess(es) are that they are unknown, or transit-like features that are either glitches or star spots.. My guess would be those last two, at least at a long glance. And hope this helps, a bit anyway. And someone else could see more there. Good luck.
