    At 2, 11 and 26 day study of the stars seen some changed. This is a glitch or something else?

    Unfortunately these features are probably glitches. Kepler fires its thrusters about every six hours which causes a jump in the flux. These jumps can normally be corrected but sometimes the procedure doesn't work very well.

    Since Kepler measures the flux every 30 minutes, you can sometimes spot these glitches by counting the dots for suspicious dips. If you count 10 or 11 dots, the dip is quite likely to be a glitch because 6 hours = 12 x 30 mins and from the twelve measurements one or two are removed in the correction for thrusting.
