EPIC 214417858 - Pairs of deep dips

  • matiscke by matiscke

EPIC 214417858 shows a number of deep V-shaped dips that occur in pairs. Could this be a highly eccentric transiting binary?

Re 214417858: it is indeed an eccentric binary, so nice identification of this C7 target by you. There are no known EBs in this area per a quick VSX and Simbad search by me anyway. p.s. this EB was on Ivan's C7 list already though as a binary candidate.
