    Could this be 2 planets? But if so they would have to have the same orbital period, don't they? Would be great if someone could explain what we are seeing here.

    yes, they would, which is very unlikely. Rather this is a typical example of a fine Eclipsing Binary , i.e. two stars orbiting each other and alternatively eclipsing one of the two stars. See http://blog.planethunters.org/2010/12/21/eclipsing-binaries/?lang=en
