Also I haven't used this in a long time, so is it normal that the highlighted parts don't appear?

Unfortunately, I think this is unlikely to be a planet.
The star is quite bright which has caused some overexposure and made quite a mess of the light curve. See more details here.
The star also appears to have semi-regular variations in brightness with a period of about 1.2 days and an amplitude of up to 5%. I suspect this may be due to starspots with the periodicity corresponding to the rotational period of the star.
The star is listed on SIMBAD but not on VSX.
