APH0000zo5 possible five transits?

  • pawel_pleskaczynski by pawel_pleskaczynski

Hey, I've discovered five transits in APH0000zo5. There weren't simulations, and I'm curious whether I discovered a new planet. Is it possible that this was REALLY a transit?!

This is listed as: KOI6304.01 False Positive ,

NASA keep the lists here http://exoplanetarchive.ipac.caltech.edu/docs/data.html

But they don't say why, for this particular star, that its a False Positive. However these transits, particularly the depth of them looks like an EB, so I checked on another Astronomy site here https://www.aavso.org/vsx/index.php?view=detail.top&oid=242229

So yes this is really a transit, but its two stars transiting each other. These still need to be actually looked through though, to see if there is a third object, because, sometimes, very occasionally, planets do get found in two(or even four) star systems.

    Happy hunting
