Hello Everyone !

  My name is Jamie Odom. I heard about Planet Hunters about a week ago and am very interested in starting. I am a Captain in the National Guard and work in the Directorate of Information Management.I am currently working on my Masters degree in Cyber Security but have always had a soft spot for Astronomy. This looks like a lot of fun but how do you get out of the tutorial ? I think I am still in the tutorial but am not sure.

  Yes, this site really needs an expert to help serious people like yourself but unfortunately they are all busy elsewhere, for now. My suggestion is learn what you can by looking around, reading, and trying more light curves, and then check back later and see if we are any busier.

  p.s. and thank you for your service! I would have put this first, but we are of course an astronomy group with world-wide planet-hunting volunteers.
